Employment Opportunities

Several Opportunities for employment exist in 2008.

Year-’round Positions (FT): Opportunity for the right person (start out as a seasonal helper) to stay on year-’round with us. We are looking for someone who is primarily interested in all phases of fruit growing (from planting and pruning to marketing). Prior experience or education in fruit production is nice, but not absolutely neccessary; a strong interest in being a fruit grower is. Full-time employees work 40-hour weeks (50-hours from August until November) and receive hourly wages and health insurance. Wages based on experience. Shared housing may be a possibility.

Harvest-time Positions (PT): From approximately August through October, and maybe into November. Help with harvest (picking fruit and/or veggies) at the farm one or several days a week, or help at one of our farmers' markets stands a few hours a week. Hourly wages are $10/hr.
