Our jarred goods contain only fruit and cider; they have no added sugar or spices, and they don't need them! Great fruit makes the great flavor - you'll be amazed!
Unopened jars can be stored in the cupboard for more than a year. Opened butters, refrigerated, should last for several months; opened applesauce should be refrigerated and will last about a week to 10 days.
Our apple butter is made entirely with our own apples, and nothing but apples. It is delicious mixed with oatmeal, yogurt, or cottage cheese, used as a spread on toast or a muffin, or eaten by the spoonful.
Asian Pear Butter:
Our Asian pear butter is made with 100% NSO Asian pears, and has no added sugar. Naturally sweet and with a complex carmelized flavor, it's delicious on top of winter squash and sweet potatoes, as a topping for toast, bagels, or pancakes. Stir some into plain or vanilla yogurt for an amazing treat. If you're creative, it's a great ingredient in homemade salad dressings and marinades for meat. A favorite around here: mix half and half with Dijon-style mustard for an absolutely fantastic pretzel dip!
Cider Apple Sauce:
Rather than cooking our apples down in water to make sauce, we cook them down in apple cider - hence the name, Cider Apple Sauce. No added sugar or spices for a purely super-rich apple flavor! Delicious for plain eating, mixing with oatmeal, and cooking.
