Midge Diener

I have always loved art and have pursued painting in many ways. I wanted to create original works. Oil painting was explored for a short time, but I love the flow of watercolor and decided to pursue that medium.

I met the challenge to become a watercolor artist in 2002. I took classes at Darlington Arts Center. I was taught by very contatious teachers including several at the COmmunity Arts Center in Media.

I enjoy painting flowers, varied subject matter, and local scense where I live in Landenberg, PA>

Professional associations include the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, The Artist’s Guild of Delaware County, Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts, Art Alliance of Oxford, and Artist Connection.

I have shown at the Media Arts Festival, Rose Tree Park, Philadelphia Arts Festival, Dover Days, Cecil County Art Council, New Castle Art on the Green, Art Gala at Unionville, Art and Antiques at Hagley, Greenville Art Show, Oxford Art Alliance, and other showings. I show at many local cafes. I also sold several pieces of art at Hardcastles Gallery in Delaware.

I enjoy teaching both adults and children at Oxford Art Alliance. I teach watercolor at Jenner’s Pond.

I also have a webpage, midgeart.com, where you may view other pieces of my art.

I love the process of painting and hope that my work conveys the emotion and love for watercolor.
