Pottery Sale & Empty Bowls Event

A special weekend for gift-giving!

Chester County potters will have a lovely display of their works available in the loft, great for gifting yourself or friends and family. This sale is part of down to earth happenings, a loose collective of local makers and growers who believe that sharing the experience of functional art elevates food and drink, raises awareness about the importance of local food systems, and builds community.

PLUS: Downstairs in the Farm Store, the same professional artists are hosting an "Empty Bowls" event!

In non-pandemic times, we would share soup made from local veggies. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a local level.

“It is the empty space which makes the bowl useful.” - Lao Tzu

Would you believe that these bowls represent only a small portion of the stunning bowls so generously donated by 10 Chester County potters? 100% of bowl sales will go directly to the Chester County Food Bank ($25 is the minimum suggested donation, although you can certainly donate more). And yes, the stacks are matching sets (they are sold individually, so come early for a whole set)!

Have fun doing some holiday gift shopping local and supporting others in our community to ensure access to real, healthy food.

Tell your friends, bring your friends, and enjoy your visit! Buy Fresh, Buy Local!
