Peaches and Nectarines

  • With a few exceptions noted below, many peaches are very similar in flavor and hard to describe other than "sweet and peachy". There can be some subtle diffences, though, so feel free to talk with us when you visit for recommendations!

Bowden

White nectarine. Clingstone. A distinct delicious flavor combined with an unusual characteristic called "non-melting flesh". This means that the fruit will not get super-soft like normal peaches and nectarines do...and that's ok with this one! Give it a couple of days at room temperature to soften a little...it will have a little bit of "give" to it, kind of like a tennis ball. Slice or bite in, then be wowed by both the flavor and texture of this very unique nectarine! Ripens in late July.
