Arugula will keep for a week if refrigerated in a plastic bag or airtight container. Push any extra air out of the bag for better longevity.

Also called ‘Rocket,’ arugula is a spicy green that adds a lot of flavor to salads and cooked dishes. The peppery flavor mellows a bit when cooked, so if it’s too strong for you raw, try steaming it or adding it to casseroles, or putting it on top of pizza. Arugula salads are fabulous when you add a bit of fruit (either dried or fresh) as a counter to the green’s spicy flavor.
