Cauliflower

Care & Storage:
Cauliflower can keep for a week or two in the fridge. For best storage, keep it in a plastic bag or airtight container.

Tips & Tricks:
Cauliflower freezes nicely. Cut it up, blanch it briefly, and freeze it for the winter! When thawed, it won’t be real firm, but it will be great to add to soups and stews, or for mashing (mashed purple or orange cauliflower is a great novelty, especially for kids).

Easy Prep Ideas:
With a slightly sweet flavor, cauliflower is delicious eaten raw, and is great for dipping or in salads. It can be steamed, roasted, or cooked and mashed, and added to soups and stews. It can be used interchangeably with Romanesco.
