This means that the fruit will not get super-soft like normal peaches and nectarines do…and that’s ok with this one! Give it a couple of days at room temperature to soften a little…it will have a little bit of “give” to it, kind of like a tennis ball. Slice or bite in, then be wowed by both the flavor and texture of this very unique nectarine! Ripens in late July.
